Now that Bubba is in Kindergarten, he will learn a new Bible verse each week. His teacher, Mrs. C., gives us the reference in his notebook, he brings his Bible home, we mark the verse and begin practicing it. My friend at work suggested that I share the verses he's learning, so here's the first one:
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1
The verse has been highlighted in Bubba's Bible and he has recited it back to me, his Daddy and Grammy, so hopefully he'll remember it on Monday when he has to recite it for his teacher in class!
That was our K3 and K4 verse for the first week too! Then we had John 1:3. Now we're on Psalms 139:14. Is he using the A Becca curriculum too?
