It's Fun to Play at the Y-M-C-A

When I signed Bubba up for summer camp at the local YMCA, I was told he would either cry because he was having so much fun he didn't want to leave or he would fall asleep in the car on the way home from playing so hard all day.  After nearly two weeks at camp, Bubba still needs convincing.  Afterall, the only other place he's known since he was a baby was our church's daycare/preschool.  Thankfully several of his friends from preschool are at camp.  Everyone is so nice and welcoming at the Y (although very unorganized!), and after just a few days everyone knew Bubba's name.

It's hard to get details from Bubba about how his days at the Y are going, but so far he's been on a field trip to the Virginia Aquarium (the sharks were his favorite) and Hunt Club Farm (pony rides and petting zoo).  He likes the playground at school, and he's been in the big outdoor pool a few times - swimming lessons are coming soon!  Last Friday, they had a bunch of bounce houses set up and they according to Bubba were "totally awesome."

I'm hoping for more reports of "totally awesome."
